Experience

I have tutored University students in Linguistics, Language, and Social Sciences for four years. In addition, I have tutored elementary and high school children for over six years in subjects including: English, Health Science, Social Sciences and Humanities, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Geography. As a Linguistics major, I have acquired essential skills in also teaching fundamental study habits and skills associated with writing, as well as a great ability of teaching English as a second language. Relevant university courses I have taken, which would make me a great tutor include: Academic Writing in the Humanities, Language in Its Social Context, Linguistics courses, such as Fundamentals of Grammatical Analysis, Children Studies and Education courses, The Living Body (Biology), Psychology, Psycholinguistics, as well as many others, which will be aavailable upon request.
