I have extensive tutoring experience, working for Harvard Learning Academy from 2010 to 2012, and tutoring various mathematics and science courses in University with great success. I have had a tremendous experience tutoring my students, especially as an employee of the tutoring agency Harvard learning academy, and my students have become very successful in their courses. My style is showing you how to break down a problem into individual simpler steps, helping you understand each step, and then finally allowing you to understand the bigger picture behind the problem. Then I ensure that my students do all the practice questions with my guidance. I find that this is the most effective way for one to develop strong thinking skills, develop a plan to reach a solution, and ultimately build confidence. Furthermore, I understand the importance of seeing where my students are currently at in their studies and knowledge-base, and build from there. I will also help you build tools to approach each problem so that eventually you will become self-sufficient without having to depend on a tutor. My accolades include a 3.83 GPA during my undergraduate years, greater than 90th percentile in biology/chemistry/physics in my PCAT and 85-90th percentile on my MCAT. I have matched into internal medicine residency in the US and I will be in Toronto from April to June 2016. I listed my pricing above. I am an easy-going individual, very social and a hard worker. I love to teach, which has been a passion of mine since the beginning of high-school. Although I am easy going, I have also been very ambitious in life with pursuing medical school and a career as a physician. My hobbies include watching movies, playing board games, bhangra, playing different sports outdoors, and trying new restaurants.
