I am an East Asian language enthusiast. I was born in Taiwan. I finished my elementary education in Taiwan. I continued to study Chinese in Canada. Therefore, I know both simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. I am able to teach in two phonetic systems, Zhuyin and Pinyin. My major in University of Toronto was East Asian Studies with Japanese and Chinese concentration. I can speak Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese and now I am self studying Korean. I have the basic foundation of Asian Linguistics. I, myself as a language learner, will be able to share my learning tips with my students. I believe language is closely related to history, culture and politics. With that said, in order to learn a language well, you would also need to understand its background history and culture.
