I'm a concurrent education student at York University, just finishing my second year of schooling. My current Majors are Professional Writing / Religious Studies and Education
Experience
I've been a tutor since I was 17, and have a experience working with kids since I was 12. I've been a camp counsellor from 15 to 17 and a tutor since then. I'm also a writer and just recently published my first book. I've been writing magazine columns for several years as well. I love teaching and I love learning. I enjoy nothing more than discovering something interesting, or someone sharing something interesting with me. My goal is to help people escape the parts of education which seem imposing and boring so they can realize their own goals and their own passions and loves. I believe everyone is already a successful student, and that people need only guidance to discover their own talents. I know personally how much a good teacher can help someone love education and learn to have faith in themselves.
